Why Does Staying Healthy Matter?

Life changes a lot after high school.  Taking care of yourself now helps you stay focused, have more energy, avoid getting sick, and handle stress better.

The habits you build today make adulthood a whole lot easier.

• Carry a reusable water bottle

• Set hydration reminders

 •Check your urine color: too dark= drink more water

• Increase intake during sports or heat

• Don’t skip breakfast- even a protein shake will keep energy up

• Limit ultra-processed snacks

• Prep multiple simple meals to freeze

•Keep healthy snacks in your car or bag: fruits, nuts, protein bars
